Who we are looking for:

The Clarion Hotel & Suites is searching for a Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate must possess extensive knowledge and experience in property maintenance to support and provide consistently excellent experiences for our guests. Strong skills in leadership, communication and customer service are required. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license, be capable of lifting a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly and be comfortable using a ladder. Previous experience with Refrigeration, Heating and Cooling systems, Pool & Spa Maintenance, Electrical and Mechanical procedures is an asset.

What you will learn:

You will learn a full working knowledge of the hotel’s operations and equipment. Various  Maintenance and Repair Training and Skills Upgrading Courses will be available. The Candidate will attend department meetings, as well as professional development courses and workshops.

Position Summary:

Through the guidance of the General Manager, oversee and support the daily operations of the hotel with the use of preventative maintenance routines. Provide upkeep of the building and surrounding property, ensuring proper procedures, policies and standards are being followed. Assisting other departments as required and ensuring proper procedures, policies and standards are being followed.
